Categories of Membership (& Entitlements)

Social Non-Bowling Membership

Social Members are entitled to entry to the Clubroom and to use the Bar, TAB, and all other Clubhouse facilities. This category also includes entitlement to attend social functions and events within the Club. Social Members are not entitled to vote or Propose or Nominate new Members or Propose Notices of Motions to a Club Meeting. Social Members are not entitled to participate in bowling competitions.

Restricted Bowling Membership

This category of Membership includes all the entitlements of Social Membership but also permits Members to use the full bowling facilities of the Club and to participate in Club bowling competitions which do not require the wearing of Whites or Club Colours. Restricted Bowling Membership does not entitle Members to play Pennants or in Championship events. Restricted bowling fixtures are mainly during the Winter season (April to August) but are limited during the main bowling season. Restricted Bowling Members are not entitled to vote or Propose or Nominate new Members or Propose Notices of Motions to a Club Meeting.

Full Bowling Membership

This category of Membership entitles Members to participate in all Club events and functions, bowling or otherwise. Only full bowling members are allowed to vote in any Club elections, to hold office and to wear Club colours. The Full Membership fee includes payment of an Affiliation fee to Bowls WA (WA’s Lawn Bowls Governing body.)

Junior Membership

Junior Members are entitled to play in all Club events and functions bowling or otherwise. Junior Members are not entitled to vote or Propose or Nominate new Members or Propose Notices of Motions to a Club Meeting.
