Corporate Bowls is run on Wednesdays over 2 six week periods (Seasons) each year. With Season 1 from Mid February to Mid March & Season 2 run November to December.
Teams are made up of 4 players, with a maximum number of 36 teams in the competition. Teams can include a recognised, or experienced bowler, but they are only allowed to play lead or second. A handicap may be applied at the discretion of the committee.
Competition during each season starts each Wednesday evening at 5.45pm and will play for 8 ends. A free sausage sizzle will follow play each evening.
A one off nomination fee of $160.00 per team is payable before your nomination can be accepted, and nominations must be in two weeks before events commence.
Footwear must be flat soled shoes, stockinged or bare feet, thongs, or some runners are allowed. Definitely NO HEELS or DEEP RIPPLE soled shoes. If in doubt, please check your footwear with organisers.
Smoking is not allowed on the greens, near the synthetic surrounds, or in the club house. Designated areas are provided for smokers.
Eaton Bowling and Social Club’s Liquor License covers inside the boundary fence, however, food and drinks of any sort are not allowed on the playing surface.
